The company

American governance. Regional reach.

AXS Medical Solutions, Inc. is a Michigan corporation headquartered in the Greater Detroit Area.

We connect world-class manufacturers of medicines, vaccines, and medical equipment with ministries of health, hospitals, and licensed distributors across seven markets: Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, and Syria. Our leadership has been involved in this field for decades and enjoys long-standing relationships with public and private healthcare providers and buyers.

Our founder built and led The Makki Group, Inc., which supplied the Iraqi Ministry of Health throughout the reconstruction years from various world-renowned manufacturers, delivered in a timely manner in accordance and collaboration with the FDA.

Partnering with us opens the doors to acquire essential medicines, vaccines, and reliable hospital supplies and equipment.

Track record

This is not our first ministry.

In association with The Makki Group, Inc., our team supplied the Iraqi Ministry of Health with pharmaceuticals from 2004 through 2015 — first under the Coalition Provisional Authority, then directly with the Ministry. Few companies entering these markets have done this work before. We have.

Supply at national scale

Millions of doses of essential medicines delivered into the Iraqi public health system across successive Ministry of Health tender orders, spanning hundreds of pharmaceutical line items from cardiovascular and anti-infective through to central nervous system therapies.

Manufacturing, not just importing

Beyond supply, we contracted Iraqi pharmaceutical plants to manufacture under our agreements — millions of additional tablets produced in-country for the Ministry of Health, building local capacity rather than displacing it.

Regulatory documentation

Every product supplied carried FDA or Health Canada approval. FDA Certificates to Foreign Government, European notified-body conformity certificates, and complete shipping and certification packages accompanied each consignment.

Delivery under pressure

Temperature-controlled air freight into Baghdad during active conflict, with product released against governmental certification at the Ministry's central medical warehouse. Difficult logistics are the normal condition of this work.

The Makki Group, Inc. is a separate company. Its Iraq programme is referenced here as the professional history of AXS Medical Solutions' founder and leadership, not as the corporate record of AXS Medical Solutions, Inc.

Where we work

Seven markets. One standard.

Each market operates under its own ministry of health registration regime. We manage product registration, importation licensing, and distribution locally — under one compliance framework governed from the United States.

IQ · Baghdad / Erbil

Iraq

Large state tenders in oncology, chronic care, and hospital equipment, plus a fast-growing private sector.

LB · Beirut

Lebanon

A sophisticated private hospital sector seeking reliable, competitively priced supply amid economic recovery.

LY · Tripoli / Benghazi

Libya

Hospital reconstruction and public procurement driving demand for equipment, essential medicines, and turnkey supply.

SA · Riyadh / Jeddah

Saudi Arabia

The Gulf’s largest healthcare market, driven by Vision 2030 health-sector transformation, SFDA-regulated registration, and sustained public investment in hospital capacity.

SD · Khartoum / Port Sudan

Sudan

Urgent humanitarian-scale demand for essential medicines, IV fluids, and primary-care supply chains.

SY · Damascus

Syria

A reopened market following the lifting of comprehensive sanctions — rebuilding pharmaceutical supply from the ground up.

How we operate

Compliance is the product.

Operating in complex markets is our specialty precisely because we operate to American standards in every one of them.

Trade compliance

Every counterparty, bank, and shipment is screened against U.S. sanctions and export-control requirements before any transaction proceeds. We operate under OFAC and BIS guidance in each market we serve.

Anti-corruption

As a U.S. corporation, we conduct business under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Our agreements with agents, distributors, and public buyers are structured for full transparency and auditability.

Product quality

We prioritize products with WHO prequalification or stringent-authority registration, and we maintain documented cold-chain and good-distribution-practice standards from factory to point of care.

Regulatory documentation

Stringent-authority approvals, FDA Certificates to Foreign Government, European notified-body conformity certificates, and complete consignment documentation — assembled to the standard ministries and customs authorities actually require. We have been doing this paperwork since 2004.
